Why are you not supposed to steal antacids next to prescriptions?

Ive always hear that you are not supposed to take any antacids beside other drugs because it will reduce the efficiency of the other drugs. Why? What is in antacids explicitly supposed to keep prescriptions from working? Not adjectives antacids have duplicate ingrediants so are there some out in attendance that is ok to filch along with drugs?
Because antacids queue the wall of the stomach, they slow down the absorbsion rate and the effectiveness of the prescibed drug
Almost adjectives antacid contains a base! and lowers the tang in stomach which may encounter the dissociation of such drugs which necessitate acidity.
That's why!
But i'm not sure!
Antacids can interfere next to drug absorption of some prescription or over the counter medication, thereby reducing the effectiveness of the drug. While adjectives antacids do not contain the same ingredients, they are adjectives doing basically matching thing which is they buffer gastric tart, raising the pH to exhaust acidity surrounded by the stomach. In doing this, it reduces the stomachs qualifications to use these acids to break down some medications and contained by turn reduces their worth.
