Why are some Medications within brown chalice bottles?

I know its bit of a silly question but I hold this Pharmacy prep class in big school and it be a question on a trial, if anybody has a clue why, please aid
There are actually two reason for that. First, to protect the medication from light, which might grow mouldy it. The other thing is that most of the medication bottles are made of recycled cup, and it's not necessary for them to hold a clear colour like ones used for beverages.
To protect the contents from excess moisture and feathery, which might cause the contents to debase faster.
